For a latex mattress to breath properly, it needs to be 100% Natural Latex and designed with pincore holes for ventilation. Problems can occur with overheating when sleeping on a latex mattress which has either a pillowtop layer or a cheaper foam layer on top or is not 100% Natural Latex - preventing the mattress from breathing.
